We spent 3 nights in this hotel in a Superior room and right from the outset the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room on the 5th floor over looked the railway lines, but the noise of trains passing did not disturb us. The rooms were very comfortable and the tea and coffee were replenished everyday, as were the toiletries. The breakfast bar had a large selection of hot and cold foods and the stocks were continuously replenished. We would certainly stay here again in the future as it is very central and there is a bus stop near the hotel and the Hop On Hop off bus stops right at the door. The room size and style I would even consider to compare it to Ibis, that's a comparable standard. It is a very clean hotel though. The breakfast was average so was the lunch. The conference facilities were great though. The staff quite polite, the bars were closing quite early not sure why but all in all unless you intend to use the conference facilities this is a very average hotel.
